For many generations Steiling is, and has been Heinrich Münkel's family home. In 1993 Heinrich Münkel and his wife Elfie began to rebuild and renovate the old stables and the first hotel rooms came into being. Along with the children, the hotel grew from year to year.
Meanwhile the small guest house has developed into a professional Hotel/Restaurant which has been built up with much love and attention to detail.
The individual needs and preferences of our guests have been the motivation for continual modernisation and extension. With a great deal of personal dedication, an intuitive feel for creating a cosy atmosphere and adherence to high technical standards the Münkel family have created a home from home for you.
The Restaurant offers a cuisine well above the normal standards, and enjoys an excellent reputation.
